How to select corset size

How to select corset size

A corset is a garment worn to hold and shape the torso into a desired shape for aesthetic or medical purposes (either for the duration of wearing this item, or with a more lasting effect). Both men and women are known to wear corsets, though women are more common wearers.
How do I select the right size?

It is our recommendation to order the size that is 4 inches below your natural waist measurement. For example, if the measurement around the narrowest part of your relaxed waist is 30", you would typically order your corset in waist size 26" that is corset size 40.

Corset Size Table
Why do I need to wear corset?

  • Corset is fashion.
  • Corset can make you look like an hourglass figure.
  • Corset can be used to train your waist into shape.
  • Corsets can instantly 'improve' the figure without dieting, slimming drugs, or cosmetic surgery.
  • Corsets can reduce pain and improve function for people with back problems or other muscular/skeletal disorders.
  • Some large-breasted women find corsets more comfortable than brassieres, because the weight of the breasts is carried by the whole corset rather than the brassiere's shoulder straps. (Straps can chafe or cut the skin.) However, if a bra is properly fitted, the weight of the breasts is carried by the band and not by the shoulders, thus eliminating this problem for even women with very large breasts.
  • Some corset-wearers enjoy the feeling of being "hugged" by the corset.
  • Due to their tightness and close proximity to the body, corsets can make the wearer feel very warm. They have been most often worn in cool climates.
How to lace corset?
  • Start the lace from the inside, feed the lacing through the top of corsets.
  • Feed the lace on the left side and cross it over to the right. Slip it into the eyelet. Make sure that the lace that crosses over forms a line that stays outside of the corset. Repeat this on the right lace, alternating over then under through each eyelets in a series of X's
  • Continue in alternating X's until you reach the center or waistline of the corset. This is where the puller-loop is created. The puller-loop is the loop of lace that you pull on to draw in the corset. Please note that the puller-loop MUST be on the outside.
  • Take the left lace and slip it through the next eyelet down on the left side. This creates a loop on the outside of the corset. The remaining lace should now be on the inside. Now for the right side, take the right lace and slip it through the next eyelet down on the right side. The remaining lace should be on the inside.
  • Continue in alternation X's until you reach the bottom and tie it off.

Guide to Buy gridle for Crossdressers

A.jpgGirdles aren't just for women anymore.

Around since Victorian times, men's control wear is nothing new. Ads for male girdles inundated the pages of the popular 1930s pulp fiction novels. Although male girdles have since seen their ups and downs in interest and production, a resurgence of curiosity in male girdles, not lost on today's designers and retailers, has caused a boon in marketing and availability. Not quite as easy as buying a shirt, a male girdle purchase requires a bit more time, but chiseled abs without the workout are very enticing.

Instructions

Things You'll Need

  • Tape measure
  • Pen and paper
  • Internet access
  1. Getting started

    • 1
Compression garments help with body problems.
Determine what you are looking for in a girdle. Often used for health-related reasons, male girdles, sometimes called compression garments, come in legwear for those with knee problems or vests to aid with back and spine problems. Male girdles can also help hide body fat, thereby rendering a more sculpted look without the work.
    • 2
Mirdles help keep the torso looking slim, for those that need help.
Determine which product will best suit your personal needs. Designers and retailers produce and sell different products to suit your specific requirements. A male girdle, sometimes referred to as a mirdle, helps make the torso look slimmer and sculpted. Also called a morset, mirdles come in different styles. Some look like long, tight tank tops or t-shirts and there's the standard style, which is similar in appearance to female girdles. Mantyhose, another option, shapes and lifts the gluteus area while holding in that beer belly.
    • 3
      Measure for the proper fit.
Once you've determined the style that fits your needs, find the correct size. If you choose to buy a standard mirdle, base your sizing on waist measurements. To get an accurate measurement, measure your waist directly across the belly button. The measurement will most likely match your trouser size. Use this measurement when ordering a man's girdle, as these measurements do not convert to women's sizes. If you have decided on a less traditional mirdle, say one that fits from the chest down, you will also need to get an accurate chest measurement. Measure over the highest part of your chest and shoulder blades, under the armpits, making sure that the measuring tape is parallel to the floor. Once you have determined your measurements, most online retailers provide a sizing chart. If you are shopping in a store, you can try it on.
    • 4
Consider several things when trying on your mirdle. You want it to fit properly and comfortably. As a man, you'll want to have plenty of room down there and easy access for bathroom breaks. Buying the correct size makes all the difference in not only getting the look you want, but also for comfort's sake

How to Look HOT in Your Femme Photos!

1. Create an hourglass shape

Never face the camera straight on. This gives your body a square, boxy look.

Instead, sit or stand with your hips facing sideways and twist at the waist so
your shoulders face forward . This creates the illusion of an hourglass shape.

2. Think pretty thoughts

The camera captures everything! If you feel bad about yourself, it will be
reflected in your photos.

Do whatever it takes to make yourself feel attractive … Tell yourself you're hot
or imagine that you're a supermodel. "Pretty thoughts" definitely shine through
in photos.

3. Go for natural looking makeup

Don't pose with dark or sparkly makeup. Dark makeup looks harsh, while sparkly
or iridescent makeup don't reflect light well in photos.

Instead, keep your lips light and play up your eyes for a natural, feminine
look. Use lots of powder since camera lights reflect shine.

4. Find your best side

Everybody has a good side and a bad side. Experiment with different facial
angles until you find your best look. (Note: a 3/4 view of your face is more
flattering than a straight on view.)

Two more tips: Stretch your neck out to avoid a double chin and tilt your chin
down slightly to make your eyes look bigger.

5. Keep your arms away from your body

Arms are a trouble spot for many TG girls. Posing with your arms pressed against
your body makes them look even bigger. Hold your arms away from your body for a
slimming effect.

Tweezing and shaping brows

transgender makeup tips
Locating critical brow boundaries: Place a TgCosmetics.com eye pencil at the outer edge of the nose. Keep the base of the pencil fixed at the nose and rotate it to find key brow dimension points. Vertically it aligns where the brow should generally start. Allow the inner part of the brow to begin a little bit inward beyond the vertical line. Aligning with the center of the pupil of the eye, it locates the high point of the arch.
Aligned with the outer lower edge of the eye, it locates the point where the brow should end. The beginning and end of brow should be at the same height. Tweeze from below the brow, not above.
Shaping and tweezing brows
Brows that are well shaped can make the most dramatic impact of any facial feature to create a beautiful look.
Tg Cosmetics's best advice is to relax and take it slow. Pay the most attention to the shape of the arch and inner corner of the brow. Go slow and re-check your progress often. A mistake can take 3-6 months to grow back. You don’t have to do it all in one day. Stop if you feel unsure.
General TgCosmtics tips:
• Never try to change the shape of your natural brow arch with tweezing, it simply ruins the shape of the brow. You should rather enhance your natural arch when tweezing hairs.
• Tweeze brows after a shower or bath when skin is softer and pores are more open or place a warm wash cloth over your brows for five to ten minutes before tweezing.
• A topical anesthetic is good if you have a low threshold for skin sensitivity.
• Tweezing hairs does not make them grow back thicker, repeated plucking of the same hair may cause hair to stop growing over time.
• Expect total re-growth to take as long as 3-6 months.
• Always use natural light.
• To preview how you want brows to look place a light concealer on brows with a small tipped brush to "white out" hairs you plan to tweeze.
• As brows hairs grow keep brows brushed into place with brow fix, brow gel or hairspray.
Tweezing:
• Pull skin taut and remove hairs one by one by pulling them in the direction of the hair growth.
• When tweezing grab hair close to the root and then pull gently.
Shaping:• Get rid of obvious renegade hairs like those near the eyelid, between eyes or past the outer end of the brow.
• Define the inner corners, pluck hair by hair until the brow’s inner edge is generally in line with the eyes inner corner. Don’t over do it, leave some hairs just beyond the inner eye corner area to avoid the inner part of the brow from looking too defined or exact.
• No two eyebrows are alike, go for balance rather than perfection. Stick with the natural line, don’t pluck on top, it will distort the shape
• Work from the inner corner to the outer corner on the underside of the brow, thin out over thick area by removing one hair at a time until all hairs in that row are gone.
• Don’t over pluck hairs. Leave hairs that fall slightly above that row to get a softer effect and avoid leaving gaps. Brush brows back into place, in the direction the hair grows, often as you tweeze.
•
If you are unsure about removing a certain hair, leave it alone. Leaving is always better than plucking it. You can always decide to pluck it later.
Styling:
Use an eyebrow pencil that is close to the color of your natural brows with a non-greasy, fine point to fill in brows with fine hair-like strokes to the shape you want them to be.
Eyebrow pencils: Generally Taupe colored pencils work for blonde, strawberry blonde, auburn, and red hair. Cocoa works for brown hair and white hair. Black or Silverstone works for black hair. Silverstone works for Afro-American skin. Silverstone works for gray hair.

 Dealing with Brow Types:
Heavy Brows:
Eyebrows that are too heavy can close up eyes. brow pencil a draw light lines in the direction the hair grows. Don’t force a new shape to them but fake some great effects.
Bushy brows:
If your brows are too bushy, try combing all hairs straight down until your natural arch becomes apparent. Then trim the brushed down brows with a manicure scissors, following the shape of the upper arch.
Thin Brows:
If brows are too thin, draw the ideal shape onto brow area and fill in with brow pencil. Shadow powder may be used along with a pencil for a softer effect. Add a light shade of corrector tint just below the arch for more definition.
Small eyes:
Remove a little more from the bottom of your brow to five the illusion of bigger eyes by openning up the lid area.
Close set eyes:
Take a little more from the inner part of the brow. will create the illusion of more width.
Wide set eyes:
Begin your inner brow a little closer toward the nose and remove a few hairs from the outer end.
